The 4th International Conference on Aggregation Induced Emission

The 4th International Conference on Aggregation Induced Emission

Materials, Mechanisms and Applications

Victoria Square, Adelaide, South Australia
20 – 26 January, 2019

The International Conference on Aggregation Induced Emission is the largest AIE specialised conference, bringing together research and industry in Aggregation Induced Emission from all over the world. AIE-4 will feature the latest developments in the field of AIE research. The breakthroughs, progress, and challenges in the design, synthesis and applications of AIEgens will be highlighted. AIE-4 will also include diverse social events including a welcome dinner, tutorial lectures, the AIE awards ceremony, and AIE-5 promotion.

Aggregation Induced Emission (AIE) is an innovative concept where a series of molecules which are non-emissive in solution are induced to emit strongly in the aggregate or solid state. The weak emission of AIE fluorogens as molecular species, and their bright fluorescence as nanoscopic aggregates differentiates them from conventional organic luminophores and inorganic nanoparticles, making them ideal candidates for optical, electronic, energy and biomedical applications. If you are interested in learning more about this exciting area of research, why not attend our free Tutorial Lectures? These lectures are open for all to attend, even if you do not attend the rest of the conference.
